Watec and 10 inch reflector. An elongated irregular nebula, diffuse but the northern side was definitely brighter and had a distinctive irregularity about it, the southern edge was smoother. There was a magnitude 14 central star and a magnitude 14 star on the eastern tip, a slightly fainter magnitude 14.5 star virtually on the western tip and a fainter magnitude 16 star actually on the western tip.
NGC 7006- Watec and 10 inch reflector.
This appeared extremely granular and very irregular around the periphery possibly verging on stellar resolution but also counted 15-16 resolved stars which isn't bad considering this object is 160,000 light years away! This is a very tough object for large apertures but the Watec coped admirably.
