What a sight, Vega in the scope is dazzling, totally dominating the field but at magnitude zero it is not surprising. The companion star was seen as a minute magnitude 9.5 point of light compared to its parent. Star E was seen but was difficult due to the glare from Vega itself.
Struve 2349
A pale blue primary of magnitude 5.4 and a magnitude 10.6 companion 7.3" away.
Beta
Beta looked like a cream coloured magnitude 3.4 star with a magnitude 8.6 companion 45" distant. Stars E and F both magnitude 9.9 were also detected but were not impressive.
Struve 2372
Star A of magnitude 6.7 was blue-white and the companion of magnitude 8.2 looked reddish to me.
