An observation made at the COAA in Portugal using a pair of large binoculars which showed many faint stars some of which were difficult to make out but I did notice that there was one yellow star in the cluster which stood out prominently from the rest.
M4 - 20 inch Newtonian
An observation made at the COAA in Portugal and despite using their largest telescope of 20 inches aperture the conditions plus a low altitude only allowed a very poor observation of M4, all that was seen was a large hazy but very condensed ball of light with about a dozen faint stars scattered across its face most notably across the centre of the globular producing a bar structure, highly disappointing.
M7 - 16×80 binoculars
An observation made at the COAA in Portugal using large binoculars. This was a very bright cluster for binoculars made from many dozens of stars and I did see an obvious arc structure at the centre of the cluster made of bright stars and many were coloured going down to threshold magnitudes.
