A view through 16 x 80 binoculars visible as a long streak of light. M32 and M110 were also seen.
NGC 404 - 8.75 inch reflector
A view with the 8.75 inch reflector seen as a moderately soft glow NW of Beta Andromeda. It looked like a perfectly circular ball of moderately bright light consisting of a diffuse outer halo which looked smooth and gradually brightening to the centre where a tiny faint stellar nucleus was seen.
NGC 891 - 10 inch reflector + watec
Observed with the Watec and 10 inch it looked like a large slither of light , not much of a central bulge, rather flat! The equatorial dust lane was easy to see visible all along the galaxies length, it had a large 'dent' just south of the nucleus . A magnitude 15.2 star was seen at the tip of the southern side of the galaxy, a magnitude 17 star just south of the central bulge on the western side and a magnitude 15.9 star near the northern tip and a magnitude 11.9 star NW of the western side of the central bulge.
NGC 7662 The blue snowball - 10 inch reflector + watec
A view with the Watec and 10 inch. It was seen as a perfectly circular disk of light though quite small. The disk had a brighter area to the NNE plus another fainter area to the NNW. Inside the disk was an oval ring of light, a tad fainter at the top but very prominent at the bottom and at the centre was a bright area..perhaps the central star?
M110 - 12 inch reflector
Viewed with a 12 inch reflector as a large oval nebula with a bright nucleus, the outer regions were very smooth but no detail was seen. A very faint star was seen very close to the nucleus at 134x.
